Why Hot Water Extraction Works
Hot water extraction cleans a carpet in two motions. Heated water and cleaning solution go into the pile under pressure, which releases the soil bonded to the fibers, and a vacuum immediately pulls the water, the solution and the loosened dirt back out.
The same method reaches what a household vacuum cannot: the dirt, allergens and bacteria that settle below the surface of the pile. It is also why we groom the fibers afterward. Standing the pile back up lets air move through the carpet, so it dries faster and looks even.
